Who we are
Shtigo is a comparison tool for package holidays offered by travel agencies in North Macedonia, operated from North Macedonia. It is currently in a public test phase. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
What we collect
Shtigo has no user accounts. When you search, we record the search itself (destination, dates, party size and filters) together with technical metadata: your browser's user-agent string and the page you came from. When you click through to an agency, we record which offer was clicked and when. Your IP address is used briefly to protect the service from abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored with any of this data. We collect no names, no contact details and no payment information.
Why we collect it
We use this data to operate and improve the service: to see which searches return no results, which offers go dead, and how agencies compare over time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving Shtigo.
Cookies
Shtigo uses only functional cookies and browser storage: your theme preference and language choice. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
Sharing
We do not sell or share usage data. If error tracking is active, it is processed by Sentry, configured so that personal data (IP addresses, request contents) is not sent. When you click through to an agency, you leave Shtigo and that agency's own privacy policy applies.
Retention
Usage logs are kept for as long as they are useful for the purposes above and are periodically reviewed. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
Your rights
Under the Law on Personal Data Protection of North Macedonia (aligned with the EU GDPR) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data concerning you. Since Shtigo stores no identifying profile, in most cases there is nothing linkable to you.
